Stop criminals emailing as you.
We set up SPF, DKIM and DMARC, check your HTTPS and DNSSEC and get your domain ready for the .IE Digital Trust Mark assessment.
Your customers trust emails from your address.
If your domain has no DMARC policy, a criminal can send an email that appears to come from you, to your customers, asking them to pay a new bank account. Gmail and Outlook also increasingly send email from badly set-up domains straight to spam, so your genuine quotes and invoices go missing.
Covered, step by step.
SPF
A list of the services allowed to send as you: Microsoft 365, your website, your invoicing tool.
DKIM
A digital signature on every email you send, so receivers can prove it’s really from you.
DMARC
The instruction that tells Gmail and Outlook to reject fakes, moved to "reject" safely in stages.
HTTPS & HSTS
Your website served securely, with the padlock and no mixed content or expired certificates.
DNSSEC & registrar lock
Your domain signed and locked so it can’t be hijacked or quietly transferred.
Monitoring
DMARC reports read for you, so we see who is trying to send as your business.
Identity
Locked, renewed, DNSSEC signed.
Visitors
Secure connection and headers.
Senders
Only you can send as you.
The .IE Digital Trust Mark assessment covers 28 tests across domain, website and email. An A rating lets you display the Mark for 12 months. Digital Trust Ireland is independent and not part of .IE.
At the end, you have:
- Correct SPF, DKIM and DMARC records
- Better delivery for your genuine emails
- Your website on solid HTTPS
- A domain that’s locked and signed
- A clear list for the Digital Trust Mark assessment
Common questions
Is this the Digital Trust Mark?
No. The Digital Trust Mark is run by .IE at digitaltrust.ie. We are an independent business that fixes the domain, website and email items the assessment looks at, so you are ready to apply.
Will this break my email?
Not if it’s done in stages. DMARC starts in "monitor" mode, we read the reports, then tighten it once every genuine sender is covered.
My domain is with Hosting Ireland, Blacknight or GoDaddy. Is that OK?
Yes. The records go wherever your DNS is managed. We work with all the common Irish and international providers.
